ICP Care Team Member
My connection to ICP Care is deeply personal. I was diagnosed with ICP during my first pregnancy in 2020 after experiencing intense itching in the evenings that started on my hands and feet before spreading to my whole body. After frantic late-night Google searches, I found ICP Care, which provided key information and resources when I felt completely lost, scared, and unsure of what this strange symptom could be. I was fortunate to have a medical team that provided support and knowledge, guiding me through what was ultimately an ICP diagnosis and ensuring my daughter Eloise’s safe arrival in November 2020. My doctor took all of my concerns seriously and continually monitored my bile acids throughout my pregnancy and my two subsequent pregnancies in 2023 (my son, Finn) and 2026 (my daughter, Ruby). But I know not everyone is so lucky — and that disparity drives my commitment to advancing awareness, education, and advocacy for those navigating an ICP diagnosis without the support they deserve.
Professionally, I have ten years of experience in the marketing, communications, and public relations industries across Canada and the UK. I have worked with a diverse range of clients across consumer, healthcare, tech, and nonprofit sectors, and I hold a Master’s in Media and Communications from City St George’s, University of London. I currently live in Toronto, Canada, with my family. I’m excited to bring my foundation in strategic communications, media relations, and stakeholder engagement to help continue raising awareness of ICP.
