ICP Awareness Day: June 10, 2024

Jun 10, 2024 All day

The founder of ICP Care, Donna Benavides lost her first born, Jorden, on June 10, 2003. We have dedicated the entire month of June in memory of Jorden with June 10 as ICP Awareness Day. We honor each baby lost to ICP and support those who have experienced this tragic loss due to Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy.

ICP Care sends condolences, sympathies, and so much love to our ICP families who have lost a baby to Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy.

We are shattered to add new names to our In Loving Memory banner each year.

Please visit our Facebook page to share our In Loving Memory banner post to spread awareness of this condition so that no more families have to lose their beautiful babies to ICP.

Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP) is a high-risk pregnancy condition with risk of stillbirth if untreated. One of the most common signs of ICP is moderate to intense itching. With a timely diagnosis, treatment, and medication, the chance of stillbirth is that of a normal pregnancy.

You can support ICP Care 501c3 nonprofit during the month of June ICP Awareness month by registering for our seventh annual virtual race, volunteering, fundraising, and even writing and sharing about your ICP journey.

Anytime you contribute to spreading awareness of ICP you further our community’s mission!
