Dr. Jonathan K. Mays, MD is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialist at New York Metropolitan Hospital Center where he serves as Deputy Director of Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College. He has published several papers in the area of maternal-fetal medicine, with specific emphasis on Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy. Dr. Mays has studied approaches to active management of Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy and the ideal time to intervene with induction of labor. He is currently working on a research project to investigate the genetics of Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy.

Dr. Victor Hugo González-Quintero, MD, MPH is former Professor and Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at the Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami. Dr. Victor Hugo González-Quinteros is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialist. He has been published widely in peer review journals on many subjects, including multiple pregnancies, gestational diabetes, prenatal diagnosis, and high-risk pregnancies. His work has been recognized by CREOG (Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology) and ACOG (American congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists). His current practice is in Miami, FL at Associates in Advanced Maternal Fetal Medicine that are specialists in perinatal health.

Doctora Maria Cecilia Estiú se graduó como PhD en la Universidad de Salamanca, España. Dicha entidad premió su Tesis Doctoral dedicada al estudio de la Colestasis Intrahepática  Gestacional(CIG). Es oriunda de la ciudad de La Plata, graduada como Médico en la Universidad Nacional de dicha ciudad en la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Su actividad profesional ha sido dedicada a la asistencia e investigación de embarazos de alto riesgo.

Fundó en el año 2004 el “Grupo de Investigación Clínica en CIG” en el Hospital Materno Infantil Ramón Sardá de la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Este grupo trabaja en forma permanente para la mejora de calidad de atención y resultados en CIG. Master en Investigaciones Clínicas y  Farmacológicas, la Dra Estiú participó en múltiples trabajos internacionales dedicados al estudio de pre eclampsia, amenaza de parto pre término y CIG. Durante los últimos años capacitó a profesionales del equipo perinatal y coordinó acciones para lograr disminuir la Mortalidad Materna e Infantil en  diferentes regiones de la República  Argentina. Es referente Nacional e internacional en CIG.

Dr. Jordan Perlow, MD is a board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal & Fetal Medicine. He is clinical Professor at University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and regularly serves as a judge of scientific papers for the organization at its annual clinical meeting. He is a reviewer of research submitted for publication in the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has academic appointments as Clinical Professor, University of Arizona College of Medicine. He has lectured throughout the world, including India, the Philippines, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Brazil, Mexico and Israel. Dr. Perlow is immediate-past Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, where he has provided maternal-fetal medicine care for 28 years and co-led the establishment of a world-class center of excellence for the management of patients with the highly life-threatening complication of invasive placentation.

Dr. Laura Bonebrake, MD is a board-certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 10 years of practice experience. She is currently employed as an OB Hospitalist with SSM Health in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa. She has an interest in ensuring appropriate care for patients with Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy within her hospital system and has helped shape pediatric practices at her institution to allow for an appropriate response at delivery for these neonates. She also serves on the board of directors of ICP Care and has served in this role since 2020. This role allows her to help interpret the current research and guidelines and produce educational materials that are beneficial for both physicians and patients.
