My husband, Lucas, and I are the proud parents of three boys: two on earth and one in heaven. We have our oldest son, Baylis, our angel, John Ellis, and our rainbow baby, Stanton.

I am proud to partner with ICP Care because I am passionate about spreading awareness of Cholestasis of Pregnancy. On January 6, 2017 and at 35 gestational weeks, we lost our child, John Ellis, due to an undiagnosed case of Cholestasis of pregnancy. Taking the antibiotic amoxicillin triggered Cholestasis of Pregnancy, and my severe itching was mistreated as an allergic reaction. Since then, it has been my life’s passion to spread awareness and stop the unnecessary stillbirths and complications caused by ICP. Joining ICP Care is truly an honor, as I have utilized their resources and support many times.

I am a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Merchandise/Interior Design and a Marketing Minor in 2008. I have a strong background in event planning and also created the “Hope from John Ellis Benefit” in partnership with “One Wing Foundation”. “Hope from John Ellis Benefit” raises money to help bring awareness to Cholestasis of Pregnancy as well as pregnancy and infant loss, while raising funds to donate Cuddle Cots to local hospitals. The funds also help to issue grants to local charitable organizations within the community. I am truly blessed to bring these experiences to ICP Care.

I believe in this foundation and I love the support I have received from Donna and her team since the loss of John Ellis. I know this organization has and will continue to be a vital part in helping women have successful pregnancies by “fighting the itch” of ICP together.
