Dr. Jonathan K. Mays, MD is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialist at New York Metropolitan Hospital Center where he serves as Director of Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College. He has published several papers in the area of maternal-fetal medicine, with specific emphasis on Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy. Dr. Mays has studied approaches to active management of Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy and the ideal time to intervene with induction of labor. He is currently working on a research project to investigate the genetics of Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy.

Dr. Victor Hugo González-Quintero, MD, MPH is former Professor and Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at the Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami. Dr. Victor Hugo González-Quinteros is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialist. He has been published widely in peer review journals on many subjects, including multiple pregnancies, gestational diabetes, prenatal diagnosis, and high-risk pregnancies. His work has been recognized by CREOG (Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology) and ACOG (American congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists). His current practice is in Miami, FL at Associates in Advanced Maternal Fetal Medicine that are specialists in perinatal health.

Dr. Jordan Perlow, MD is a board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal & Fetal Medicine. He is clinical Professor at University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He is a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and regularly serves as a judge of scientific papers for the organization at its annual clinical meeting. He is a reviewer of research submitted for publication in the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has academic appointments as Clinical Professor, University of Arizona College of Medicine. He has lectured throughout the world, including India, the Philippines, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Brazil, Mexico and Israel. Dr. Perlow is immediate-past Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, where he has provided maternal-fetal medicine care for 28 years and co-led the establishment of a world-class center of excellence for the management of patients with the highly life-threatening complication of invasive placentation.

Dr. Laura Bonebrake, MD is a board-certified physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology with over 10 years of practice experience. She is currently employed as an OB Hospitalist with SSM Health in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Iowa. She has an interest in ensuring appropriate care for patients with Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy within her hospital system and has helped shape pediatric practices at her institution to allow for an appropriate response at delivery for these neonates. She also serves on the board of directors of ICP Care and has served in this role since 2020. This role allows her to help interpret the current research and guidelines and produce educational materials that are beneficial for both physicians and patients.

Dr. Shayna Conner MD, MSCI is a board-certified physician specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She also has a Master’s of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) from Washington University in St. Louis. She completed her medical school training at the University of Missouri. Her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine were at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Conner is currently practicing high risk obstetrics with Freeman Health system in Missouri. She is a well published author who also has a clinical interest in Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy. She was integral in developing the comprehensive management plans for these patients in the St. Louis area and beyond.

Board History
In 2012, the yahoo support group brought Hilary Boyer and Donna together. Hilary joined as volunteer Moderator for the ICP Care support groups and is a board member. She is an integral member of the team with her science background and extensive knowledge of the condition. In 2013, Kim Viscio connected with Donna via the ICP Care “itchymoms” Facebook support group. Kim became a volunteer Marketing Manager and was a board member of ICP Care from 2013 to 2019, she brought her Marketing expertise to the team implementing strategies to continue the awareness of Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy. She along with Director, Vance Malone donated their time and talents to create the ICP Awareness video series.
In 2017, Amparo Healey joined ICP Care as Volunteer Spanish Facebook group Manager along with helping to launch the ICP Care Spanish website in 2018. She is Vice Chair and Board member attending yearly healthcare provider conferences. Lia McKernan joined the ICP Care Volunteer team in 2018 as Social Media and Content Coordinator. She brings her creative career skills now as Social Media & Content Manager. For the unforgettable year 2020 the Board expanded adding Marketing & Events professionals Kaitlan Terry and Elisabeth Naff, Legal professional Jason Miller, Social Media Specialist Grace Abraham, and Healthcare professional Dr. Laura Bonebrake. In 2021 three new Board members joined the team Carla Karp as Communications coordinator, Nicole Lorentz, Fundraising Associate, Sara-Jayne Carcerano, Family Support and Aireen Turner, Ambassador.
